A Geospatial Template for National Forest Management and Planning

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Every National Forest must develop a Forest Management Plan. However, without consistent guidance for how GIS data should inform the Forest Planning process, managers struggle independently to assemble and prioritize relevant data, justify forest management priorities with geospatial data and share the content of Forest Plans with the public.
We showcase the Intermountain Region's use of AGOL and Story Maps to design and share Forest management Plans collaboratively, transparently and intuitively.
